Rajamouli's Eega gets U/A certification from Censors




Director SS Rajamouli's upcoming movie Eega, which is one of the most-awaited movies of 2012, has cleared the formalities of the Regional Censor Board. The sci-fi thriller has received a U/A Certification without any cut. The director, who has worked very hard on this project for more than a year, is all excited over the Censors.
Elated SS Rajamouli took to his Twitter account today to share the news with his fans. The director, who was expecting the movie to get U Certification, tweeted, "Censor done and Eega is given clean U/A certification. no cuts....:) The officer explained even U/A was due to smoking shots (sic)."
Eega is a brilliant  live action graphical film, which has an animated character ‘House Fly' in the title role. The main story is that villain kills hero, who is reborn as Eega (fly). Eega happens to remember what happened in it's last birth. The rest of the story is about Eega's indomitable effort to irritate the villain and take revenge on him. It is an experimental film with mainstream emotions and financial viability.
Ashta Chemma fame Nani is playing the protagonist, while Kannada actor Sudeep appears as the antagonist. Samantha is playing the leading lady in the multilingual socio-fantasy film Eega, which has been written and directed by SS Rajamouli. The trailer and stills of the movie, which is scheduled to release on July 6, 2012, have created lot of curiosity among the movie buffs.
