Like his brother Surya, Tamil actor Karthi is fast expanding his fan base beyond Tamil Nadu. He has managed to get huge fan following Andhra Pradesh with his dubbed telugu films like Naa Peru Shiva,Yuganiki Okkadu. Now the actor is all set to rock the Telugu audience with upcoming political thrillerSakuni, which is scheduled to release on June 22.
Bellamkonda Suresh, the producer of Sakuni has planned to release the movie simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil on June 22. Sources suggest that the Telugu version of the film will hit more than 500 screens in the state. It is expected to do very well at the Tollywood Box Office.
Talking to a leading English daily, Karthi said that he likes to experiment with roles and themes. Meanwhile, the actor thanked Telugu viewers. He said that he is thankful to them for appreciating him in various kinds of films. He added that Sakuni is a political spoof and bound to enthrall viewers.
However, the tamil film Saguni is dubbed in Telugu as sakuni. The political drama has been directed byshankar dayal karthi can be seen romancing pranitha in the film, which has received 'U' certificate from the censor board. GV Prakash Kumar has composed music for 5 tracks, which have received an overwhelming response from the music lovers.
